Assistance, input, and advice to support you or your leader team’s progress in a specific problem area, work situation or development project. This may be related to strategic, organizational, business-related, or personal challenges. The approach will offer ideas, guidance, and opinions in relation to matters appearing in the dialogue between us.

Change of direction

When the overall direction and priorities changes, it will also entail a need for a strategy change. This may include internal operational matters & structures - or relationships with the external environment. Themes in a transformation process are "as is" and "to be" scenarios - a gap analysis between the current situation and the future vision, followed by an execution plan. The analysis and dialogue with management and relevant individuals in or outside the organization, as well as an action plan, is developed.

 

Organizational design

A well-functioning organizational design consists of a structure which defines roles, responsibilities and references, central workflows and the desired behavior. Proposals for organizational design and development over a given period based on the existing organization and the company's strategic goals is provided.

The analysis may include analyzing challenges and opportunities, as well as proposals for optimizing the governance structure and processes according to the company’s strategic priorities. The approach encompasses alternatives, including outsourcing and partnership models. These perspectives are included in an action-oriented recommendation, ensuring a holistic and forward-thinking approach.

About

I have spent 35 + years in private and public enterprises, in large pharma and smaller biotech industries, as well as in the Danish health care sector. Thus, most of my career took place in life science - setting and executing strategies, leading people, and change. During this time, I headed different R&D and operational organizations from discovery through all stages of development to drug approval - and participated in executing due diligence, asset, and company sale processes. Through several appointments I held executive roles as CEO, CDO and COO and obtained business acumen and experience with overall legal and strategic matters.

With a focus on identifying strategic and operational opportunities in each organizational framework - I have a a passion for people and organizational dynamics, a collaborative approach and a focus on transparent communication and trust. . Supervising the strategy execution and value creation in collaboration with the management team. Developing leadership teams and structures, encouraging an agile behavior, decision making competences and effective implementation of initiatives.
